Getting outside ourselves
As a church community,
we are very passionate in our desire to respond to the needs of people
in our city and around the world. We trust that God can bring about
both spiritual and physical transformation in the lives of individuals
and communities. We are asking God to guide us as we seek to understand
and respond to the needs of others. We know that God is passionate to
reveal His love and mercy to all people. We also believe that God
chooses to use His children to demonstrate and communicate that love.
As we experience the grace, mercy, and forgiveness of Christ, we want
to live it out and pass it along to others.
The overriding philosophy of Outreach at Ecclesia is PARTNERING OVER PROGRAMMING. We do that locally and internationally by joining with indigenous ministries which are already doing good work in the areas where the need is the greatest. We simply get on board and partner with them, both financially and relationally.
