One of the quickest ways to get connected with fellow Ecclesians is by serving. We encourage active participation from the people who call Ecclesia their home church. If you are a regular here, we ask that 1 out of every 5 weeks, you serve the church by helping out in some way.

Want to get involved? Want to feel a part of every facet of an Ecclesia Sunday Morning?
Pray.
Prayer is paramount to our church, and you’re invited to be in the middle of it. Every Sunday, a group of fellow Ecclesians (both men and women) gather at 10:15am and spend time praying together for the needs of the church. We pray for the speaker, the production, the leadership, the outreach ministries and our community.
Join the Prayer Team and you’ll be scheduled to pray with us once every five weeks. Serve by bringing your church and its needs before God.

As Ephesians 6:18 says, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”

PRODUCTION TEAM
Serve once every five weeks with the production team and be a part of the crew that helps tie all the technical strings together on a Sunday morning. Here are some of the ways to serve…
PODCAST POSTER
Every week we record the sermon to our MP3 recorder and post it for the world to listen. The Podcast Poster takes the recorder immediately after the service to our church offices and—using Audacity Audio Software—edits and posts the podcast. Some experience with audio editing recommended (or, if you've ever wanted to learn, we'll train you).
STAGE MANAGERS
The Stage Manager arrives on Sundays at 9:00am and participates in that morning's production meeting. During the service, the Stage Manager sits in the front row and is responsible for moving things on the stage as needed, and is the first one to help if there is a technical glitch on stage (like a microphone not working). If you've ever wanted to be a part of live production, this is a great way to start.
TECH THEATRE
We’re always looking for folks with a technical theatre background. If you have experience with lighting, sound board operation or are trained in media and presentation software let us know!
GREEN TEAM

Strives to find and implement the best ways for the Ecclesia community to be stewards of God’s Creation.
Maintains Ecclesia’s recycling program.
Supplies Fair Trade coffee and “green” coffee supplies.
Constantly seeks new ways for our church to make “green” choices.
Organizes carpooling and public transportation resources.

WELCOME TEAM
If you've been here three years or three weeks, welcome team is a great way to get plugged in. We’re about nurturing existing relationships and opening doors to new ones. Here are some of our tasks:
OPENING CREW
set-up for our mornings together and kick gremlins out of building.
COFFEE PREP
brew our coffee and eliminate the zombie factor.
GREETING
smile, pass out bulletins, and keep out villainous great white sharks.
PARKING
hand out parking lot passes, and karate chop the farmer's market bees.
USHERING
pass offering buckets and keep pirates from stealing.
CLOSING CREW
button-up the theatre and let the gremlins back in the building.
CLEAN TEAM
Vacuum, sweep and scrub with friendly forest creatures! *
The clean floors and bathrooms you see every week are not the work of a paid janitor. The volunteer Clean Team comes once a week and shows the church love by showing dirt hate.
So if you love to see things sparkle and shine, the Clean Team is for you! Come help vacuum, dust, scrub, and do laundry (for the table clothes). We provide the soaps and rags. You provide the love and elbow grease.
*By friendly forest creatures we mean fellow Ecclesians who love to clean. Despite our best efforts we have yet to learn how to enchant any creatures (forest or not) into cleaning our theatre—which is why we need your help.
