CALL FOR ART- BELIEF+UNBELIEF

SUBMISSION DUE SUNDAY, MAY 12

We're currently in a series called I DON'T BUY IT: 7 Reasons People Don't Believe. We want this next exhibition to be a response to the series and explore themes of doubt and faith.

Submissions are due SUNDAY, MAY 12 and need to be taken to INFO COUNTER. Please attach a piece of paper with your name on it so we can match your piece to your title info. You will also need to email michelle@churchinhollywood.com the following by Sunday, May 12:

Title (italicized), year made

dimensions

materials used

AND a 2-3 sentence artist statement for the label that will hang with your piece. (You do not have to explain your piece, but perhaps just a few words that will give some insight into your process or motivation. If you really do not want to do this, you may elect not to).

SEEKING VISUAL ARTISTS FOR INDIA COMIC

Our ministry partners in India have published a Comic Book Bible that has reached over 10,000 Hindi speaking people. While effective, the book is made up of photo-shopped images from an outdated comic book originally written in English back in 1978. Our Outreach Council would like to give the comic a new look so we’re inviting all interested artists interested in this project to participate. For more info, contact us.
