2013 KENYA TEAM

Every summer we work with our ministry partners in Kenya and take a team of people from Ecclesia to facilitate two weeks of Bible camps for the kids in the slums. If you would like to make a donation to someone on this year's Kenya team, login to our online giving here, select Kenya 2013 fund and then select the team member you would like to support (under sub-fund).

2013 LAOS TEAM

We also have a small team of people that are doing a scouting trip to Laos this summer to serve along side local Pastors and their wives and families. The team will take simple medical care accompanied by prayer into the rural parts of the country, into communities where staying healthy is often a daily struggle, and practicing their faith can be deadly. Home Care Fellowship - Kenya

Home Care Fellowship is located outside the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya. Dr. Judy Mbugua and her team provide mentoring, vocational training and financial support to women, men, and children who are affected by AIDS and poverty.

Ghetto Light Youth - Kenya

Ghetto Light Youth is located just outside the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya. Abel and Milcah Wafula founded Ghetto Light to provide mentoring through a variety of youth-oriented workshops, along with vocational and educational training to young people and their families who live in the Kibera slum.

SNEHA - India

Please keep Sneha in your prayers as they have recently experienced significant flooding in and around their facility. Ecclesia responded to this need by raising $6,700 to help build retaining and compound walls for the school in Dehra Duhn. SNEHA, which means "love" in Hindi, provides a health clinic, a thriving school, and training programs for the poorest women in the largest slum of Dehra Duhn, India.

International Justice Mission

Our partnership with International Justice Mission in Mumbai, India focuses on the rescue and restoration of people held in slavery and forced prostitution, while also aiding in the prosecution of their oppressors. Around the world, millions of children, women and men wait urgently for one thing: Freedom. IJM works to bring freedom and restoration to victims of violent oppression through the major areas of Investigation, Advocacy and Aftercare.

Ecclesia supports organizations in Kenya, India and Southeast Asia that are situated in some of the most impoverished regions of the world. These courageous, ground-level agencies preach the whole Gospel: salvation in Jesus and restoration of justice.
